Tent Pegging is an Indian equestrian sport that originated before the birth of Christ. It evolved out of a cavalry training exercise to develop skill with a lance. The essential game requires that a galloping player pierce, pick up and carry off a small ground target. The first Tent Pegging World Cup was held in 2014.
